Jayne has a history in care work and has been a Chiropody / Podiatry
Assistant since 2001. She has studied many aspects of foot care including
pathology, infection control, dermatology, gerontology and histology. As it
is important to help protect all our patients from infective organisms such
as viruses and bacteria, Jayne helps achieve this aim.
Jayne’s duties include Cross infection - ensuring that the surgery is not
only clean and tidy but also disinfected between all patients /
appointments. Sterilisation – she ensures that all instruments are sterile
each time they are used on a patient. The sterilisation equipment is also
tested daily. Jayne is
an integral part of the foot care you receive. As a
result your time with your Podiatrist is optimised so that as much quality
time can be utilised for assessing, diagnosing and treating your feet.
Jayne is also responsible for the sales and fitting of our range of wider
fitting shoes.
