Coronavirus Situation

Surgery update week commencing 2nd November 2020

We have continued to stay updated with reports from the Public Health England (PHE) and the WHO about the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) to ensure we continue to follow the recommendations being made by health officials and stay aligned with the best practices during this time for the health and safety of our patients and The Footcare Centre Team.

To all our friends and patients,

Following the recent announcement of a further national lockdown as of 5th November we would like to update you that we remain open to see ALL patients which is in accordance with guidelines set by the College of Podiatry.

David Good has prepared a video and walks you through the implementation of further controls at the surgery including the use of enhanced physical controls and barriers for the safety of all. You can view the video here:

We have continued to prepare for new systems and for the safety of all we have introduced further physical distancing measures and protective physical screens through the office, including:

1)    A rearranged waiting area with physical distancing measures implemented
2)    A reception desk screen
3)    New acrylic protective guards in treatment areas

“Why?” you may ask.

As we return to a ‘new normal’ physical distancing, barriers, along with the use of masks or face coverings will complement our ongoing rigorous handwashing in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We know many of our patients are increasingly expressing a need to attend the surgery and we are here to help now!  Get in touch today – our clinic is open.

We look forward to helping you with your future foot health needs and contact us today to arrange your appointment if you have yet to do so as we are pre-scheduling for the months to come.

If you have any concerns or queries our telephone lines are open.  Please continue to reach out to us in one of the following ways:
