David Good graduated from Southampton University with an honors degree in podiatry. He has been with the practice since 2005.

As well as general podiatry foot care, he is able to bring to the practice a variety of other podiatry disciplines including Nail Surgery, Sports Injury, and Biomechanical/Gait Analysis having done research in the area of the latter.

High on David’s agenda is communication with the patient, which ensures best practice and patient understanding.

As well as operating clinics at our Weybridge site, David also has his own business offering a home visiting service in the Camberley area called Goods Podiatry and Footcare.

Tristan has been a part of The Footcare Centre team since 2009; qualifying from the University of Brighton with an honors degree in Podiatry.

He brings an enthusiastic, professional, caring, and modern approach to Podiatry and our team.

Tristan has a keen interest and focus on the Biomechanics aspect of Podiatry, particularly with regards to the biomechanics of cycling.

In addition to this, Tristan is able to offer a variety of Podiatric services; including Nail surgery, Verruca treatments in addition to general Podiatry and Chiropody. Of particular importance to him, is the continued professional development of his knowledge and skills.

Tristan splits his time with his own practice in Staines as well as working here at The Footcare Centre.

 

Sarah Richards – Podiatrist

Sarah is our newest member of the team. She qualified from the University of Northampton with an honors degree in podiatry. She is currently enrolled on a part-time Masters Theory of Podiatric Surgery.

Sarah brings to the team a professional, enthusiastic, and patient-centered approach to podiatry. She brings to the team a wide repertoire of skills such as dermal fillers for the feet and she likes to keep abreast of the latest developments in podiatry.

In her free time, she likes to engage her creative side by revamping furniture and trying out new recipes.

Whilst Stuart continues actively as director of The Footcare Centre practice here in Weybridge, he is pleased to call Canada home where he continues to practice podiatric medicine and his areas of special interest overseas at The Footcare Centre, Niagara Falls.

Stuart qualified from the largest podiatry school in Europe at the University of Salford, Manchester (United Kingdom) in 1997 with a First Class honours degree in Podiatry. He enthusiastically provides treatment to his patients and is committed to his ongoing professional development with his experience stretching both sides of the pond. He has many years of experience working in both the public and private sectors, having worked in specialist community clinics, leading hospitals, and state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary centres. He has delivered footcare services including footcare to English premier league soccer players through to foot screenings of PGA golf pros.

Stuart holds the award of Chartered Scientist, is a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and surgeons of Glasgow, is a registrant of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, a member of the Faculty of Management of the College of Podiatry in the UK and has sat on the board of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine from 2013 to 2015.

As a chartered scientist, Stuart is a professional scientist who is practicing at the full professional level within his field of podiatric science and is an individual for whom scientific knowledge/practice at that level forms an essential element of his role. Being professionally registered is a mark of excellence; Stuart takes his own development seriously and he understands the need not just for excellence in podiatric science but also in the other skills that make an effective clinician-scientist.

From 1993 until 2004 Des worked in the travel industry working for a series of tour operators working his way from a reservations agent to Operations Manager.

As co-owner of The Footcare Centre he has the role of Practice Director where he looks after our practice in Weybridge and continues to use his skills in customer service, organization and management.

Des undertook extensive training with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

He oversees the office of The Footcare Centre in the United Kingdom, working closely with the management team, as well as the office in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

His avid community work includes:

  • Friends of Oakville Library board member - 2013 - 2016
  • Oakville Senior Citizens Residence Board Member - 2014- 2019

Jayne Robertson – Practice Manager

Jayne has a history in care work and had been a Chiropody / Podiatry Assistant since 2001. She studied many aspects of foot care including pathology, infection control, dermatology, gerontology and histology. Jayne’s duties included Cross infection & Sterilisation she was an integral part of the foot care team.

Jayne took on the role of Practice Manager in 2012. As well as providing temporary cover for reception, she is responsible for the smooth running of the practice on a day to day basis. This involves working in front and behind the scenes, to ensure that your visit runs as smoothly as possible.

 

Marilyn Collett – Senior Receptionist

The Practice would not be the same without Marilyn on reception! She has worked at the practice since 1998 and always gives patients a very warm welcome.

Marilyn has had a variety of jobs including being the PA to the General Manager of The Ship Hotel in Weybridge, statistical clerk and even a short stint at at Marks and Spencer’s.

Marilyn is now our Senior Receptionist and keeps control of our home visit cases.

Amanda joined the practice in January 2019.

While looking after her family over the last 30 years Amanda has had a variety of jobs which include being a Teaching Assistant at a local school and caring for the Elderly.

She is looking for a total change by becoming part of The Footcare Centre’s Team.

She enjoys spending time with her Grandchildren , visiting the Yorkshire Dales and walking her Dog.”
